"I met Ryan Paul in 2007 after tearing my ACL playing football. Prior to joining New Athlete, I was a 3-Time All–American and school record holder for the University of Oregon Track and Field team. Following my track and field eligibility, I played one season as a tight end for the Oregon Ducks (2006). Unfortunately, my season ended with a torn ACL.
Six months after surgery I made the decision to pick up my spikes and attempt to qualify for the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, China representing my parents home country of Nigeria. After intense research, an Adam Archuleta workout video connected me to Ryan Paul at New Athlete.
When I arrived to New Athlete, I was 30lbs overweight and was still recovering from ACL surgery. After only a few sessions with Ryan, I knew that this was the perfect place for me to get back to the elite level fitness prior to my ACL injury. Weeks later, I moved to Vancouver, Washington and began my intense summer of strength training and ACL rehabilitation.
Five hours a day for three months working with Ryan, I ended up in the best shape of my life. I dropped the 30lbs (5% Body Fat) and ended up mentally and physically stronger than ever before. I was faster, stronger, leaner and more explosive than I could have ever imagined. I even happen to land a few fitness modeling gigs in the process.
Later that year, I ran my personal bests in the 100, 200 and 400. I also qualified for the Nigerian National team that I was fortunate to represent in several international competitions.
Ryan Paul (New Athlete) is amazing! He brought me from an out of shape athlete with a torn ACL to an elite athlete representing his country on an international level.
I could not thank Ryan Paul and New Athlete enough! My athletic and physical transformation in such a short time was mind-blowing. Thank you Ryan as I am forever grateful!"
